San Angelo Museum of Fine Art

The San Angelo Museum of Fine Art is a three-story structure set near the heart of downtown and high above the Concho Riverwalk. It is an impressive building designed to look like a Conestoga wagon which houses a permanent collection of art and spaces for traveling exhibitions.

The museum, also known as SAMFA, has three spacious galleries, two with dramatic 40-foot ceilings. It also houses a multi-purpose meeting room, a gift shop with unique items and works of art created by regional artists and craftspeople, a research library with a growing collection of early Texas art resources, and a lively education wing equipped with classrooms and ceramic studios. Additionally, a large rooftop sculpture terrace offers a beautiful view of the city.
